I like my romantic mystery/thrillers with a bit of humor and Robb certainly does that with this on going series.
Eve Dallas is a haunting character, a tough cop wrestling with personal demons from her past (she has no conscious memory of her life before 8). And the knowledge, or lack of, influences eveything she does. Robb does an excellent job of developing this character from the first book to the latest and that keeps me coming back - along with that touch of humor. My only complaint is that the sometimes explicit sex, to me anyway, gets in the way of an otherwise excellent storylines. The audio procution does a very credible job, tho the occasional character voice for some leaves a bit to be desired.
